What is a Google 360° Virtual Reality Tour

A Google 360° Virtual Reality Tour is a series of panoramic (360°) images that simulate the actual location. When stitched together visitors can virtually walk through the premises and look all around the location. It is possible to have individual stand alone 360° images, they do not all have to be connected.

2 Different Pricing Levels

There are 2 ways to take the footage. Using a very good 360 camera is the relatively quick option and so the most cost efficient. The other option is to use a DSLR camera, this will provide a slightly better resolution. Using the DSLR camera however can take 2 to 3 times longer on site, and the post production work is greatly increased also. You could expect to pay 150% to 200% more. All 3 examples on this page are created using the 360 camera.

It is possible to edit 360 images. A simple filter can enhance the images but if repair work is needed there will be an additional charge. The example shown sees an old business name on the canopy, (St Peters Storage) in the 360 this was removed.

FAQ's

How long does it take?

This is dependent on the size of the premises, how many images are to be taken and the camera option to be used.
Once on site, prepared and ready to go, taking approximately 10 images with a good 360 camera should take less than 15 minutes. Using a DSLR camera, the time could be nearer 30 to 40 minutes.

How are my images delivered

We will upload any single 360 images and any connected 360 images to your Google Local Page. You will have the option to view your Google Tour before it goes live. Additional we will provide you a tour link for you to use elsewhere.

How much does it cost?

Prices start as low as $180 for 5 to 10 images.

What is the best time of day?

We can work weekends, early mornings or evenings, we will work around your schedule.

What if I renovate or have seasonal changes?

It is always best to avoid seasonal decorations, but if that’s what you want or you do some remodeling, we can return and switch out the older images.

What if we are new owners and want to remove the old images?

We can come to update the images, we can remove the images or you can request the removal via Google.

How do I best prepare for my shoot?

After booking your Google Business Tour, a reference sheet will be forwarded with things to do to prepare for your shoot.
